It is also one of the ending songs for the Englishdub ofPokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias.
InPokémon Live!,Ash sings this song to declare thatPikachu will be his Pokémon of choice to use againstthe mystery Gym Leader. While he is singing the song,Team Rocket captures Pikachu from theirMagikarp submarine. This version of the song replaces half of the second singing of the chorus and the second verse with an instrumental.
