This card was printed as both Regular andFull ArtXY Black Star Promotional cards. The Regular print features artwork byHitoshi Ariga and was included in thePikachu-EX Legendary Collection released November 18, 2015. The Japanese print was originally released in theLegendary Shine Collection.
The Full Art card features artwork byMegumi Mizutani and was included in thePikachu-EX Red & Blue Collection released September 16, 2016. In Europe, aJumbo card of this print was also included in the Collection. The artwork featuresElectabuzz andJolteon in the background. For theExpansion Pack 20th Anniversary, this print was reprinted featuring the same artwork and an updated card template reminiscent of the Original Era layout.
