Phil the Photo Guy (Japanese:カメラおやじOld Man Camera) is anon-player character inPokémon X and Y. He takespictures of theplayer at various locations inKalos.
In the core series games
When the player interacts with aPhoto Spot, they can call Phil the Photo Guy to take a picture of them in the area. Once a photo is taken, it is saved on the SD card of the player'sNintendo 3DS system, and it can also be sent to thePokémon Global Link viaGame Sync. Phil the Photo Guy can also show the player photos that have previously been taken.

- In French, the name ofCameron (F. Otto) is the abbreviation of the name of Phil the Photo Guy (Otto Focus), which suggests that they could be just one person. This is not the case in other languages though.
