Peerless Fighters (Japanese:強化拡張パック 双璧のファイターEnhanced Expansion Pack: Peerless Fighters) is the name given to the fifth Japanese subset released during the Sword & Shield Era of thePokémon Trading Card Game. It is an enhancement of the fifth main expansion, the dualSingle Strike Master andRapid Strike Master. It features a number of Pokémon fromThe Crown TundraPokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass and continues to support theSingle Strike style andRapid Strike style mechanics introduced in the main expansion.

Information

Enhanced Expansion Pack: Peerless Fighters is a subset containing 96 cards and was first released in Japan on March 19, 2021. Each booster pack contains five cards. Several Pokémon withGalarregional forms debut in this subset following their appearance in The Crown Tundra DLC forPokémon Sword and Shield, includingSlowking,Articuno,Zapdos, andMoltres, all of which appear asPokémon V and receive SpecialFull Art prints. The subset once again features the Wushu PokémonUrshifu in itsSingle Strike and Rapid Strike Style, this time as non-variantDarkness andWater-type Stage 1 Pokémon, respectively. Their inclusion also heralds the TCG debut of their base form,Kubfu. The two forms of Urshifu support the Single Strike and Rapid Strike mechanics, as do numerous other Pokémon andTrainer cards in the subset.

The subset was later released inTaiwan andHong Kong on April 2, 2021, inSouth Korea on April 21, 2021, inThailand on April 30, 2021, and inIndonesia on July 2, 2021.
