Vendors line the area in the Great Marsh selling food, along with other items. The event features a test of strength and a beauty contest, where the Croagunk who pass the test, face the champion from the previous year. The winning Croagunk is rewarded with a crown with a diamond and a pearl. The judges of the competition areCarny,Nurse Joy, and Crasher Wake.
InCream of the Croagunk Crop!,Brock entered with hisCroagunk and Jessie withMeowth disguised as Croagunk. Brock won all of the events and faced the reigning champion,Hamilton, and his Croagunk, nicknamed Craig.Team Rocket interrupted the fight, stealing all of the Croagunk in the process. However, Nurse Joy and her Croagunk, Chrissy, stopped them with aVacuum Wave. Chrissy's heroism led to the coronation of Nurse Joy and her Croagunk as champions of the festival. The party then ended the festival.
