Oración (Japanese:オラシオンOracion) is the song thatAlice plays inThe Rise of Darkrai to calm downPiplup,Shinx,Azumarill, and some otherPokémon. In a flashback,Alicia was playing Oración to a sleepingLuxray, aRoserade, aKirlia, andDarkrai. It also seemed to negate the effects of Darkrai'sBad DreamsAbility, as the other three Pokémon were seen affected by it before she played it. In another flashback, Alicia was teaching Alice to play the song on the grass flute. Later, it takes more importance in the film when it is played by theSpace-Time Towers to calm the anger betweenDialga andPalkia, ending their fight.

The song was composed byShinji Miyazaki.

Other uses

OnPokémon.com/drkgift, if a user typed "orasion" into the text box, a special wallpaper fromThe Rise of Darkrai was available. This page was removed from Pokémon.com during the site overhaul.

InPokémon Sleep, this song is used for the "Cresselia vs. Darkrai" event after reaching the highest rank level.

Trivia

• On an engraving in the Music Room inside theSpace-Time Towers, it appears as ifAlicia is playing Oración, as she is whistling on a leaf and the Pokémon around her appear calm.
• "Oración" is Spanish for "prayer". This usage reflects the fact thatAlamos Town is based on a Spanish village.
• The Korean dub ofThe Rise of Darkrai used Oración during the credits instead of having the usualending theme.
• Oración is often used as background music inPokémon the Series.
  • Similar variations of this song can also sometimes be heard when a Pokémon uses the moveGrass Whistle, such as whenCilan's Pansage used it inBWS01.
