Oni Mountain (Japanese:鬼が山Oni Mountain) is a large mountain located in the center ofKitakami.
Geography
A giant, rocky mountain that resembles the heard of a one-horned ogre or oni.

Oni Mountain first appeared inTinkatink's Hammer Wasn't Made in a Day asLiko,Roy,Dot, andFriede headed up theInfernal Pass in order to meet up withBriar at the summit. Following an encounter with a troublesomeBombirdier, during which Dot'sTinkatink evolved intoTinkatuff, the group made it to theCrystal Pool inthe next episode. At the summit, the junior members of theRising Volt Tacklers had a briefbattle against aTerastallizedMilotic, while Friede managed to find Briar. At Briar's camp, everyone shared with each other what they knew aboutTerapagos, before the Rising Volt Tacklers headed back toMossui Town the next day.

Origin
Oni Mountain may correspond toMount Osore, a volcanic mountain in theAomori Prefecture in which its name literally means "dread" in Japanese. The mountain is also a pilgrimage destination with a temple located in the caldera. In Japanese mythology, this mountain is believed to be one of the gates to the underworld.
The Japanese name of Oni Mountain alludes to 鬼ヶ島Onigashima, the mythical island ofoni (a kind ofsupernatural entity in Japanese folklore akin to demons, ogres, and trolls) visited byMomotarō in Japanese folklore.
