Oluolu (Japanese:オルオルʻOluʻolu) is a recurring character inPokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. He is a famousPokémon Base player fromMelemele Island who plays for theMagikarp (Japanese:コイキングKoiking). He is also a graduate of thePokémon School.
History
Oluolu debuted inPulling Out the Pokémon Base Pepper!.Professor Kukui sawAsh's excitement after watching one of Oluolu's Pokémon Base games ontelevision. As a result, he andPrincipal Oak arranged a Pokémon Base match for thestudents of the Pokémon School and their Pokémon, with the three adults commentating the match. WhenTeam Rocket arrived, withJessie wanting Oluolu's autograph, he agreed to participate in a game between the students and the evil trio. Just when it seemed like Team Rocket was about to win, Oluolu had hisSnorlax perform theZ-MovePulverizing Pancake, allowing the school team to win the match. Despite Team Rocket losing, Oluolu still offered Jessie his autograph as thanks for the good game, but before she could take it,Bewear showed up and carried the trio away.
InNight of a Thousand Poses!, Oluolu was seen playing Pokémon Base on TV. InThe Dex Can't Help It!, he was playing Pokémon Base with aDruddigon whenRotom Pokédex ended up on TV.
InBattle Royal 151!, Oluolu was among the 151 Trainers taking part in theBattle Royal preliminary round of theManalo Conference, which he entered with his Snorlax. He ended up losing and being eliminated from the tournament.
Character
Much likeSamson Oak, Oluolu has a habit of making Pokémon gags, accompanied by a visual imitation of the Pokémon in question.

Snorlax is Oluolu's only known Pokémon. He used it during the Pokémon Base match between the Pokémon School team and Team Rocket. It appeared again inNight of a Thousand Poses!, where it was seen on theTV atProfessor Kukui's house. It appeared once more inBattle Royal 151! where Oluolu used it in the preliminary round of theManalo Conference. It ended up getting knocked out off-screen, eliminating its Trainer from the tournament.
Snorlax's only known move isGiga Impact*.
Snorlax can perform theZ-MovePulverizing Pancake.
