In the TCG

Main article:Colorless (TCG)

The equivalent to the Normal type in thePokémon Trading Card Game is the Colorless type. Colorless-typePokémon cards that depict Normal-type Pokémon are generally weak toFighting and has no Resistance. Due to the decreased amount of types in the TCG, Colorless generally also adoptsFlying-type Pokémon andDragon-type Pokémon (prior to theDragons Exalted expansion) under its typing.

The Colorless type can be considered as the "neutral" type in the TCG; attacks that require Colorless Energy may use any type or "color" of Energy.
