Muddy Water inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of lowering each target'saccuracy by one stage. Muddy Water targets all adjacent opponents.

Generation III to V

Muddy Water's power is 95.

Muddy Water can be used as the second move of aPokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 2 bonus appeal points ifRain Dance was used in the previous turn.

Generation VI onwards

Muddy Water's power was lowered to 90. Muddy Water will also destroystalagmites found in the background ofbattles.
