Molten Arena (Japanese:溶岩戦場Lava Battlefield) is an area located in the northeastern regionCobalt Coastlands ofHisui. It is found at the center ofFirespit Island. It is the place where thenobleArcanine, Lord of the Isles (Japanese:キングKing of the Island), resides. As part ofMission 10: "The Lordless Island", aHisuianGrowlithe that is the son of the late Lord of the Isles evolves here after confronting theMiss Fortune sisters and becomes the new noble. The newly evolved Arcanine is then fought here to calm him of his frenzy.WardenPalina of thePearl Clan tends to the new lord Arcanine here.

Geography

The Molten Arena is situated at the base of the central volcano of Firespit Island, in front of the entrance to theLava Dome Sanctum. The shape of the arena is a small and circular rocky platform with three fan-shaped pieces of rock extending from it in adjacent cardinal directions. It sits amidst a pool of impassable lava.
