AMirage Mountain (Japanese:マボロシ山Phantom Mountain) is a location inHoenn located on an island inPokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It is only accessible bysoaring onLatias^AS orLatios^OR. A Mirage Mountain can appear daily, or it may not appear, being replaced with aMirage Island,Mirage Forest, orMirage Cave. MoreMirage spots can appear viaStreetPass.

If a Mirage Mountain is received via StreetPass, it will not have a hidden item.

In thePokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version, two of the Mirage Mountains can also be visited during play.

Mirage Mountains

Each Mirage Mountain contains one item that can only be obtained once, as well as one of three possible items (Green Shard,Yellow Shard, orDeep Sea Scale) that will be present whenever it appears as the daily Mirage spot; the unique item is listed below. Additionally, some Mirage Mountains includebreakable rocks, which the player can destroy withRock Smash to encounter wild Pokémon or obtainfossils.
