Mimo (Japanese:ホシHoshi) is a recurring character inPokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. She isKiawe's younger sister and the daughter ofSima andRango.

History

Mimo and Kiawe

Mimo debuted inYoung Kiawe Had a Farm!, at her family's home atPaniola Ranch. She reappeared inGetting the Band Back Together!, where she attended a concert hosted byDJ Leo.

InSo Long, Sophocles!, Mimo assistedthe group in preparing a farewell party forSophocles when it seemed like he was moving away.

InThe Ol' Raise and Switch!, Mimo had some fun playing withPopplio, which Kiawe was looking after. She later warned him that two of theTauros were fighting, and watched as Popplio helped calm them down.

InThe Young Flame Strikes Back!, the future of the ranch came under threat of being turned into a hotel by a businessman namedViren. Mimo stood up to Viren, only to be targeted byElectivire'sThunder.Turtonator andMarowak stepped in to defend her, which resulted in Turtonator being knocked out. She later stood up to Viren the next day, only for Viren andhis henchmen to be arrested byOfficer Jenny for forging land owner documents.

InA Young Royal Flame Ignites!, Mimo watched theBattle Royal along with Kiawe andMarowak.

Mimo appeared during a flashback inFilling the Light with Darkness!, where Kiawe revealed that he and his sister were working on the farm whilst Rango and Sima were sleeping, due to the effects ofNecrozma draining theUltra Aura from theregion.

InA Plethora of Pikachu!, Mimo visitedPikachu Valley with Ash and Kiawe.

InLillier and the Staff!, Mimo watched Kiawe perform in the school play.

InHeart of Fire! Heart of Stone!, Ash and his classmates visited Paniola Ranch alongsideBrock andMisty. Mimo provided them with some ice cream and watched as Brock helped treat a babyKangaskhan who had been threatening someMiltank.

InKeeping Your Eyes on the Ball!, Mimo watchedKahili play a round of PokéGolf on TV.

InA Fiery Training Camp Trick!, Mimo wanted to go camping with Kiawe, Sophocles, and Ash, only for Sima to say they weren't going camping for fun. Mimo later visited the camp alongside Sima to provide food to the boys.

InThe Final Four!, Mimo arrived atManalo Stadium to cheer Kiawe on during his battle againstGladion. On her way there, she confrontedTupp,Zipp, andRapp, who were spray-painting graffiti on the floors, only for them to send out their Pokémon. She was saved by Gladion and hisSilvally, who took her to Kiawe. Mimo later sat with Kiawe's classmates in the stands and watched the battle between Kiawe and Gladion, cheering her brother on.

InGetting Down to The Ire!, Mimo continued to watch Kiawe's battle against Gladion, and observed as her brother lost. ThePoké Problem segment revealed Mimo had begun to admire Gladion while heading home on a boat with her father.

Character

Mimo is always keen to help out around the farm and gets annoyed with Kiawe whenever he stops her from lifting heavy objects, as he is concerned about her safety. She also views Kiawe as overprotective, but she still loves him a lot.Mimo is supportive of Kiawe, as seen inThe Final Four!, when she visitedManalo Stadium to cheer Kiawe during his battle againstGladion. Despite this, it seems that Mimo has a secret crush on Gladion.[1]

Mimo is also close toKiawe's Turtonator, as seen inThe Young Flame Strikes Back!; after Turtonator got knocked out protecting her fromElectivire'sThunder attack, Mimo was crying over it and even called it Turty.
