Meteor Falls (Japanese:流星の滝Meteor Falls) is a location inHoenn. It is a largecave west ofFallarbor Town with awaterfall inside.

InPokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Meteor Falls is one of the ancestral homes of theDraconid people.

Role

Team MagmaREOR orTeam AquaSAS steal aMeteorite fromProfessor Cozmo at Meteor Falls. InPokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire,Brendan/May accompanies theplayer to rescue the professor, and helps in aMulti Battle againstTabithaOR/ShellyAS and aTeam Magma GruntOR/Team Aqua GruntAS. Afterwards, the villainous team heads toMt. Chimney, while Professor Cozmo returns to Fallarbor Town.

InPokémon Emerald,Steven Stone appears here deep inside a new area after theplayer enters theHall of Fame; hisPokémon are considerably stronger thanChampionWallace's.

Delta Episode

During theDelta Episode, afterProfessor Cozmo requests that the player retrieve aMeteorite Shard from Meteor Falls, the player andSteven encounterZinnia's grandmother at the top of the hills at the back of 1F 2R. At this point, Steven has already found a Meteorite Shard. Zinnia's grandmother tells the two about the history of theDraconid people in theHoenn region, and Zinnia's desire to summonRayquaza.

After completing the Delta Episode, Zinnia's grandmother can be found in the middle of the first floor. When talked to, she will thank the player and give them Zinnia'sSalamencite on her granddaughter's behalf. Afterwards, she canteachDragon Ascent toRayquaza.

Meteor Falls first appeared inBubble Bubble Toil and Azumarill II, whereProfessor Cozmo was seen there, digging up ameteorite forTeam Aqua underShelly's supervision.

Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire arc

InBlastoise Transforms, theDraconid people were revealed to live inside Meteor Falls. Their home, theMeteor Village, first appeared inPS610, whereRuby andEmerald were revealed to have been brought there after they were knocked out byPrimalGroudon and PrimalKyogre. While they were recovering,Archie andMaxie were deeper within the cave,training with Groudon and Kyogre in order to master their respectivesignature moves;Precipice Blades andOrigin Pulse. Once they had finished their training, they used one ofHoopa's portals to travel toRoute 120.
