Amemory (Japanese:メモリmemory), also referred to as amemory drive ormemory disc, is a type ofheld item introduced inGeneration VII to work with theAbilityRKS System to change thetypes ofSilvally and itsMulti-Attack.

InPokémon Sun and Moon, the player receives all the memory drives fromGladion atAether Paradise after receiving aType: Null from him during the post-game. InPokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, due to Gladion having temporarily leftAlola during the post-game, Type: Null and the memories are instead obtained fromWicke atAncient Poni Path.

Generation VIII

InPokémon Sword and Shield, the memory drives are obtained from aLeague Staff member at theBattle Tower lobby, after receiving a Type: Null from her.

  • The Japanese names of all memories are taken from the English names of types, with two having minor alterations: ファイトメモリFight Memory and エレクトロメモリElectro Memory.
  • Files found inAether Paradise mention the existence of 18 memories,[1] though only 17 have ever been obtainable since there is no memory corresponding to theNormal type.
