Mega Punch (Japanese:メガトンパンチMegaton Punch) is a damage-dealingNormal-typemove introduced inGeneration I. It wasTM01 in Generation I andTM00 inPokémon Sword and Shield.
It can be thought of as a counterpart toMega Kick, being the same type and having a similar name.
Effect
Mega Punch deals damage and has no secondary effect.
Mega Punch can be used as the second move of aPokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 4 bonus appeal points ifFocus Energy orMind Reader was used in the previous turn.
