Mega Kick (Japanese:メガトンキックMegaton Kick) is a damage-dealingNormal-typemove introduced inGeneration I. It wasTM05 in Generation I andTM01 inPokémon Sword and Shield. InGeneration II, it was thesignature move ofHitmonlee.
It can be thought of as a counterpart toMega Punch, being the same type and having a similar name.
Effect
Mega Kick deals damage and has no secondary effect.
Mega Kick can be used as the second move of aPokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 4 bonus appeal points ifFocus Energy orMind Reader was used in the previous turn.
