AllowsMarshadow (or a Pokémontransformed into Marshadow) to upgrade itsSpectral Thief into the specialZ-MoveSoul-Stealing 7-Star Strike.
Unaffected by item negating effects (such asEmbargo andKlutz). Item manipulating effects (such asTrick andFling) cannot remove a Z-Crystal from a Pokémon.
Rayquaza cannotMega Evolve if it holds a Z-Crystal.
Outside of battle
A held Marshadium Z is automatically removed if the Pokémon istraded between players.
