Manning (Japanese:マルフジMarufuji) is a minor recurring character ofPokémon the Series: Black & White.

History

Manning debuted inJostling for the Junior Cup!, where he participated in thePokémon World Tournament Junior Cup. His first opponent wasKenton, whom he defeated and advanced to the next round of the tournament. InBattling Authority Once Again!, he battledTrip in the second round and lost. He made a cameo appearance inGoodbye, Junior Cup - Hello Adventure!, where he lined up with all the other competitors in front ofAlder,Cynthia,Caitlin andFreddy O'Martian.

InCurtain Up, Unova League!, Manning competed in theVertress Conference. InMission: Defeat Your Rival!, he appeared on the screen showing the match-ups for the second round of the Conference, meaning that he had made it through the first round. InLost at the League!, he appeared once again on the screen of the Vertress Conference, now showing the match-ups for the last sixteen, meaning that he had made it through the second and third rounds. InStrong Strategy Steals the Show!, he lost toRusset, knocking him out of the Vertress Conference. InA Unova League Evolution!, he appeared once again during the closing ceremonies of the Vertress Conference.

Heatmor was the first Pokémon that Manning used in the Junior Cup. It was able to defeat Kenton'sGolett and advance its Trainer to the second round. It was sent out again in the second round, but quickly lost toTrip's Serperior.

Debut	Strong Strategy Steals the Show!

Jellicent was used in the fourth round of theVertress Conference to battleRusset'sEelektross. She lost, however, and her Trainer was eliminated from the tournament.

None of Jellicent's moves are known.
