TheMEGA Starter Set Mega Diancie ex was released in Japan on September 5, 2025. As the name implies, this deck focuses onMega Diancie ex as the primary Pokémon, alongside variousPsychic-type Pokémon and Trainer cards, including anillustration rare card ofMeloetta.
Both this product and theMEGA Starter Set Mega Gengar ex product contain a 60-card deck with fixed contents, featuring a mixture of new cards and reprints, as well as 62 damage counters, two status markers, a one-player playmat, a player's guide, and acoin. Its suggested retail price at launch is ¥1,800.
The MEGA Starter Set Mega Diancie ex was released in Traditional Chinese for theTaiwan andHong Kong markets on September 19, 2025 under the 挑戰牌組Tiǎozhàn Páizǔ / Tīujin Páaijóu (lit. "Challenge Deck") product line, with a suggested retail price of NT$ 500 / HK$ 125. The Traditional Chinese set has contents that are largely the same as the Japanese set, but the deck composition is different, notably including reprints ofLatias ex,Unfair Stamp, andEnergy Recycler. The MEGA Starter Set Mega Diancie ex was also released inKorean with the same contents as the Japanese set.
