Lyla (Japanese:ライラLyla) is a recurring character who first appeared inNarrowing the Chaser Chase!. She is one of the Challengers taking part inProject Mew.

History

Lyla was first seen approachingSterling after he had defeated two other Challengers whilst taking part in the battle royaleTrial Mission atSea Mauville. Lyla proposed teaming up with Sterling to pass the mission, which he accepted. They continued to explore Sea Mauville, defeating fellow challengers and evading theRoselia andMagby thatDanika unleashed to make the mission harder.

Later, they came acrossGoh andHorace and made them think that Lyla'sLiepard was injured. This was soon revealed to be a trick, allowing Sterling and Lyla to attack Horace'sGardevoir, causing it seriousdamage. Lyla teamed up with Sterling to battleGoh's Inteleon, but Goh was successful in defeating Liepard, causing Lyla to fail the mission. Lyla then joined with all the other challengers when Danika and received a video message fromQuillon.

InChasing to the Finish!, Lyla appeared at theSplit-Decision Ruins, whereGary and Goh were taking part in a Project Mew mission. Afterwards, she watched as they took on aRegidrago andRegieleki, which they proceeded to catch, completing the mission.

Liepard is Lyla's first known Pokémon. She used it during the battle royaleTrial Mission atSea Mauville, where it teamed up withSterling and hisVikavolt. After attackingHorace'sGardevoir, it battledGoh's Inteleon, only to be defeated bySnipe Shot.

Liepard's known moves areSucker Punch,Night Slash, andDark Pulse.

Frosmoth

Frosmoth is Lyla's second known Pokémon. It was used alongside Sterling'sGalarian Darmanitan to trappedGary andGoh, but they soon escaped.

Sandaconda is Lyla's third known Pokémon. It was used alongside Sterling'sRunerigus to battleGary andGoh, but they were eventually defeated byCinderace andBlastoise.

Sandaconda's known moves areSand Tomb andBulldoze.
