AllowsLycanroc (or a Pokémontransformed into Lycanroc) to upgrade itsStone Edge into the specialZ-Move Splintered Stormshards.

Unaffected by item negating effects (such asEmbargo andKlutz). Item manipulating effects (such asTrick andFling) cannot remove a Z-Crystal from a Pokémon.

Rayquaza cannotMega Evolve if it holds a Z-Crystal.

Outside of battle

A held Lycanium Z is automatically removed if the Pokémon istraded between players.
