TheLuck Incense (Japanese:こううんのおこうGood Luck Incense) is a type ofheld item introduced inGeneration IV. Prior toGeneration IX, it was anincense that allowedChansey andBlissey to produceHappinyEggs. Inbattle, its effect is identical to theAmulet Coin.

In battle
The Luck Incense doubles the amount ofprize money received after battle if the holder takes part in the battle. It also doubles the amount of coins picked up fromPay Day andG-Max Gold Rush.
Luck Incense does not stack withAmulet Coin or other Luck Incenses; however, it does stack withHappy Hour andPrize Money Power.
Once the Pokémon has participated in battle while holding it, it takes effect; it is unaffected byKlutz and takes effect even if the holding Pokémon faints or the Luck Incense is removed or negated.
Outside of battle
If held by either parent of a pairing inPokémon Day Care or thePokémon Nursery that wouldproduce aChanseyEgg, aHappiny Egg is produced instead.
