TheLost Wilderness (Japanese:みかいのこうやUndeveloped Wilderness) is a dungeon inPokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness andPokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky.

It can be unlocked after graduation. In Explorers of Time and Darkness, it is unlocked by accepting an escort mission available after reaching Bronze Rank. In Explorers of Sky, it is instead unlocked by finding its location at the bottom of a drink inSpinda's Café.

On the 15th floor is a room that always contains a Reviver Seed. A similar room can be found inHappy Outlook.

Gameplay

The jobs are ranked E, ★2 or ★3 by default, depending on the floor.

The dungeon uses following layouts:

  • Medium-sized with 3-8 rooms on floors 1 and 2 and 3-9 rooms on floors 3
  • Large-sized with following amount of rooms
    • 3-8 on floor 8
    • 3-9 on floors 4 and 5
    • 3-10 on floors 6 and 7
    • 3-12 on floors 15 and 17
    • 3-13 on floors 10 and 14
    • 3-14 on floors 11, 12, 13 and 16
    • 3-17 on floor 9

There's 1-4 items on the ground on floors 1 through 3, 2-5 on floors 4 through 8 and 3-6 on later floors. There's 4-7 items in the walls. There's 2-3 starting enemies on each floor.

The IQ Booster activates on every even floor. The turn limit is 1000. Items spawn sticky 7% of the time. Enemies on floors 1 through 9 have 150IQ and 331IQ on floors 10 through 17.

The dungeon contains various types of weather:

  • Cloudy on floors 2 and 12
  • Sandstorm on floor 4
  • Fog on floors 6 and 10
  • Rain on floor 8

Pokémon encountered

Each time player enters floors 11 through 16, only 14 of the following species that can be found on a given floor will be chosen. The unpicked Pokémon's spawn rate will be added to whichever picked Pokémon is next in the National Dex order, going back to the beginning if needed.
