Kovopedia is an independent wiki dedicated to theMagical Vacation series of games developed byBrownie Brown (nowadays 1-UP Studio).

History

The wiki originally started on July 21, 2010 on Wikia (nowadaysFandom) as Magical Wiki, founded by user Vlax-dono, presently known as TendraelUmbra. It would remain largely inactive until 2020, when userRman41 adopted the wiki and became the bureaucrat, renaming the website to Magical Vacation Wiki, as well as redesigning the main page and logo.

On October 31, 2022, in response to Fandom's purchase of other large popular entertainment-related websites (such asGameFAQs andMetacritic),[1] Rman41 forked Magical Vacation Wiki off of Fandom and founded Kovopedia.

On March 2, 2023, Kovopedia became the twenty-seventh member of theNintendo Independent Wiki Alliance.
