Karena (Japanese:キクヨKikuyo) is acharacter of the day who appeared inHere Comes the Trubbish Squad!.

Karena, alongside her granddaughterDaniela, is the owner of aDay Care close toNacrene City. WhenAsh,Iris andCilan arrived at the Day Care, they found a group of schoolchildren rebelling against their teacher for not allowing them to keepTrubbish. Karena helped the children to keep Trubbish by revealing that Trubbish loses its bad odor once it befriends a person.

In the end, she gave Ash aPokémon Egg as a reward for all his efforts in helping the children.
