IfBreakneck Blitz is used duringharsh sunlight withWeather Ball as its base move, it will turn into Inferno Overdrive. This does not occur if Weather Ball is turned into a Z-Move via another move likeSleep Talk.

Generation VIII onwards

Inferno Overdrive cannot be selected in a battle.

Any non-Mega Evolved, non-Primal Pokémon can use Inferno Overdrive if it knows a damagingFire-type move,holds aFirium Z, and if itsTrainer wears aZ-Ring^SM orZ-Power Ring^USUM.
