Inferno Overdrive (Japanese:ダイナミックフルフレイムDynamic Full Flame) is a damage-dealingFire-typeZ-Move introduced inGeneration VII.
Effect
Generation VII
Inferno Overdrive inflicts damage. Itspower and whether it is aspecial orphysical move depends on the move it is based on.
IfBreakneck Blitz is used duringharsh sunlight withWeather Ball as its base move, it will turn into Inferno Overdrive. This does not occur if Weather Ball is turned into a Z-Move via another move likeSleep Talk.
Generation VIII onwards
Inferno Overdrive cannot be selected in a battle.

Any non-Mega Evolved, non-Primal Pokémon can use Inferno Overdrive if it knows a damagingFire-type move,holds aFirium Z, and if itsTrainer wears aZ-RingSM orZ-Power RingUSUM.
