Incinerate (Japanese:やきつくすComplete Burn) is a damage-dealingFire-typemove introduced inGeneration V. It wasTM59 in Generations V andVI.

Effect

Generation V

Incinerate inflicts damage to all adjacent opponents. It destroys anyBerries held by the hit Pokémon. TheOcca Berry will activate before being burned up. Berries that would activate in response to Incinerate, such as theOran Berry orRowap Berry, are destroyed before they have a chance to be consumed.

Incinerate cannot destroy items held by a Pokémon withSticky Hold.Symbiosis will not activate when an item is destroyed by Incinerate. Items destroyed by Incinerate cannot be recovered byRecycle,Pickup, orHarvest.

Generation VI onwards

Incinerate's power changed from 30 to 60.

Incinerate will now also destroyGems.

When used in aMax Raid Battle, Incinerate fails completely, without even dealing damage.
