Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series

Ice Ball deals damage, hitting the target up to 5 times per use. The move will end early as soon as a single hit misses. In theRescue Team series, Ice Ball's damage is multiplied by 1.5×, 2×, 2.5×, and finally 3× for each successive hit. In theExplorers series, the damage increases only by 0.1× for each successive hit. Ice Ball's base critical hit rate is lower than normal (2% in the Rescue Team, Explorers, andAdventure Squad series).

FromSuper Mystery Dungeon onward, Ice Ball no longer increases in power for each successive hit, but will double in power the first time it is used successfully ifDefense Curl had been used by the user on the same floor. If aReviver Seed activates, the move will end.
