Hyperspace Newmoon Nightmare (Japanese:異次元ミアレ 悪夢の新月島Otherdimensional Miare: NightmarishNew Moon Island) is a pocket ofHyperspace Lumiose. The player encounters and battles aRogue MegaDarkrai here. After calming it down, the player catches it and receives aDarkranite.

During the battle, Darkrai will useDark Void as its charged special attack, dealing damage in a large area of effect and making affected Pokémondrowsy. Drowsy Pokémon will take damage equal to 1/25 of their maximum HP every second.
(First phase)
After Darkrai'sHP is lowered to 0, it undergoesRogue Mega Evolution, completely recovering HP.
During this phase, Mega Darkrai will periodically create copies of itself that attack withDark Pulse. Additionally, the damage over time taken by drowsy Pokémon increases to 1/16 of maximum HP.

- The location's name references theNewmoon Island inSinnoh, whereDarkrai can be encountered, sharing a name with it in all languages, having at least the language's word for "Newmoon" in Newmoon Island's name.
- This location is reused for the pocket of Hyperspace whereGenesect is encountered. However, it is simply labeled asHyperspace Lumiose.
