TheHuman-Like Egg Group (Japanese:人型グループHuman-Shaped Group), known prior toPokémon Diamond and Pearl as theHumanshape Egg Group, is one of the fifteenEgg Groups. As ofGeneration IX, 70 Pokémon belong to this group.
Characteristics
Pokémon in this Egg Group, as the name implies, have similar characteristics tohumans. They are fully bipedal, standing and walking on two legs. They also possess arms with which they could manipulate objects or deliver blows. The majority of members of this Egg Group are either of thePsychic orFighting-type.
Severalevolutionary lines that belong to this Egg Group have received a pre-Evolution in the form of aBaby Pokémon, either in a later generation or, in the case ofLucario andToxtricity, at the same time. There are also several lines that are predominantly male. Most Pokémon within this Egg Group are exclusive to it.
Prior toGeneration VIII, theRalts line was not included in the Human-Like Egg Group, whileHawlucha was exclusive to it.
