Release information

This card was included in theSword & Shield expansion with artwork byKen Sugimori, first released in each of the JapaneseV Starter Sets. It was reprinted as aFull ArtS-P Promotional card with new artwork byNaoki Saito, and was given to customers who purchased two booster boxes of eitherSword orShield upon its release at participating stores. The set logos are featured at the bottom of the artwork. In Japan, the Sword & Shield print was reprinted in theZacian + Zamazenta Box and with different artwork bySanosuke Sakuma in theCharizard & Grimmsnarl VMAX Starter Sets. The Sword & Shield print was reprinted again in Japan as aS-P Promotional card and in each of theV Starter Decks. The S-P Promotional print was one of nine possible cards included in special packs sent to Event Organizers in April 2020 for distribution in official events hosted by them. This print features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. Outside Asia, the Charizard & Grimmsnarl VMAX Starter Sets and Full Art S-P Promotional prints were later included in theChampion's Path expansion.

Another S-P Promotional print with different artwork byTaira Akitsu was released in the JapaneseHop's Daily Routine Trainer Card Collection on November 20, 2020. This print was later released in the specialCrown Zenith expansion outside Asia. The Sword & Shield print was reprinted again in the JapaneseVenusaur & Blastoise VMAX Starter Sets,Sword & Shield Family Pokémon Card Game set, andZacian & Zamazenta vs Eternatus Special Deck Set. The Champion's Path Regular print was reprinted in a second version of the Japanese Charizard VMAX Starter Set, available in theVMAX Battle Triple Starter Set from December 4, 2020.
