Hilda has experienced similar events to hercore series counterpart as the NPC character. While on herjourney, Hilda would catch a Tepig, a Leafeon, and Tornadus, challenge theBattle Subway withHilbert, and participate inMusicals.[3] After meeting a Victini fromLiberty Garden, Hilda would catch a different Victini while inCastelia City.[4] Hilda also battledIris as aGym Leader two years before she became aChampion.[5]
