Trivia

  • Hilda is based on the NPC character fromPokémon Black and White, as she mentions battling with Hilbert on theBattle Subway and had never met N before he arrived onPasio.
  • Hilda & Tepig are one of four sync pairs who have had an increased recruitment chance in a seasonal scout without being a seasonal sync pair. The other three are Karen & Houndoom, Brendan & Treecko, and Blue & Pidgeot.
    • Of those four, Hilda is the only Trainer who received a seasonal outfit later on.
  • In thestory eventSummer Nights & Wishing Stars, Hilda reveals that her Grapploct hatched from anEgg given to her byBea.
  • In her sygna suit'ssync pair story, Hilda reveals she met Victini inCastelia City and wonders if it has any connection to the Victini atLiberty Garden.
  • Hilda was the first character in Pokémon Masters EX to form sync pairs with twoMythical Pokémon.
  • Hilda is the first character to form a Neo Champion sync pair with a Pokémon not introduced in the same Generation as the Trainer, as Iron Leaves was introduced inGeneration IX.
  • Hilda is tied withN,Cynthia, andSteven as the character with the second-highest number of sync pairs in the game, at eight.
    • Hilda has the most amount of sync pairs of any Main Character.
  • All versions of Hilda use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers includeHilbert,Cheren,Bianca,Nate,Rosa,Alder, andN.

Origin

Hilda's design is based on her appearance inPokémon Black and White. Tepig is one of thefirst partner Pokémon ofUnova in thecore series games. In addition,Hilda's Pokémon Adventures counterpart is depicted with aTepig. Tepig and Emboar'sDex entries come from Pokémon Black, and Pignite's Dex entry comes fromPokémon Black 2 and White 2.

Hilda's Leafeon may be based on the Eevee that can be obtained as agift Pokémon during an event in Japan for Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. Leafeon's Dex entry comes fromPokémon Ultra Sun.

Tornadus is aLegendary Pokémon that is encountered and can potentially be caught by the player in Pokémon Black. Tornadus's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black.

Mienfoo was introduced inGeneration V, like Hilda was. Mienfoo's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Hilda does not own a Diancie outside this game. Diancie's Dex entry comes fromPokémon X.

Hilda does not own a Grapploct outside this game, though the sync pair may reference thetakoyaki commonly eaten at Japanese summer festivals. Grapploct's Dex entry comes fromPokémon Sword.

Victini is aMythical Pokémon that can be caught atLiberty Garden in Pokémon Black and White if the player has the event-exclusiveLiberty Pass. Victini's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black.

Hilda is not seen owning an Iron Leaves outside this game, though it is said to be a future counterpart ofVirizion, which was introduced in Generation V like Hilda was. Iron Leaves's Dex entry comes fromPokémon Scarlet.
