Heal Pulse (Japanese:いやしのはどうHealing Pulse) is a non-damagingPsychic-typemove introduced inGeneration V.

Effect

Heal Pulse restores up to 50% (75% if the user hasMega Launcher) of the target's maximumHP. Heal Pulse bypassesaccuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in thesemi-invulnerable turn of a move such asDig orFly. It can hit non-adjacent targets inTriple Battles.

If either the user or target is affected byHeal Block, this move cannot be used. In this case, if there are no other usable moves (due toDisable,Choice Band, lack ofPP, etc.), the user will useStruggle.

It will fail if the target's HP stat is already full or if it is behind asubstitute.

If powered up by aPsychium Z into Z-Heal Pulse, all of the user's lowered stats are reset, and the target can be healed regardless of whether the user or target is affected byHeal Block.
