Appearance
Gwynn is a short, young girl with light complexion. Her hair is styled in an asymmetrical bob cut — the right side being slightly longer than the left — and is slightly lighter in color at the tips.
Gwynn wears a thigh-length white coat over a black dress with a blue striped belt and brass buckles, black leggings, and black shoes. Her coat has theFist of Justice logo printed on the left sleeve. She also wears blue gloves, blue and black ties around her neck, and aChandelure-shaped hat with herKey Stone embedded on the front.
Personality
Gwynn is generally an aloof and cold individual, not unlike theGhost-type Pokémon she raises. Despite being younger than Ivor, she acts as the more responsible sibling of the two, and is often the one left to deal with complaints directed towards Ivor and his recklessness, much to her annoyance. She tends to not speak much, though she is very direct and blunt when speaking. She prefers being alone and enjoys quiet, dark atmospheres, such as the night time or the depths of the sewers.
Gwynn has a severe infatuation forCanari, and often proclaims her love for the latter. Canari recognizes Gwynn as one of her earliest Canatics and considers her a close friend, and refers to Gwynn by the personal nickname "G-Volt" (Japanese:ムクちゃんMuku-chan).
History
Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Gwynn first appears in the story ofPokémon Legends: Z-A as one of the participants at the Canari Quiz Whiz Contest, although her name isn't yet mentioned by the story. She is eliminated in the second round of the contest.
Later, Gwynn disappears the day before theplayer is supposed to battleIvor for theirZ-A Royale promotion match to Rank D. Since Gwynn has disappeared, Ivor cannot attend the match, not only because he's worried for Gwynn but also because he can't use her phone to authenticate Challenger's Tickets — Ivor doesn't own a phone because he constantly breaks them unwittingly with his strength. With the help of DetectiveEmma, Ivor and the player search for Gwynn and learn various aspects of her: Gwynn is often called to city hall to sort out complaints from people living near Ivor'sJustice Dojo, and often hangs out atNouveau Café withCanari. Canari herself reveals that Gwynn once told her that she wanted a place for herself, "where the X, Y, and Z axes don’t meet up", and that Gwynn was heading to a fountain depicting a Pokémon that her partnerChandelure is weak to — this turns out to be theClawitzer fountain inBleu Sector 7. Investigating the Clawitzer fountain reveals an entrance to ahidden sewer complex underneath the fountain structure, where the player, Ivor, and Emma eventually find Gwynn hiding in the sewers' depths. After defeating her, Gwynn reveals that she deliberately sabotaged Ivor's promotion match by hiding away because she can no longer stand Ivor's behavior, explaining how she keeps having to clean up after his messes. Having no idea he caused so much trouble, Ivor apologizes to Gwynn and the promotion match can begin afterward.
Gwynn later appears inHotel Richissime as one of the guests invited toJacinthe's "Le Super-Tournoi de Jacinthe" tournament, and is defeated byCorbeau in the second round.
During the game's final act, Gwynn and Ivor join the player in a Multi Battle againstRogue Mega-Evolved Pokémon. In the credits, Gwynn and the other major characters are seen helping clear the rubble after the incident withPrism Tower.
