Giga Impact (Japanese:ギガインパクトGiga Impact) is a damage-dealingNormal-typemove introduced inGeneration IV.
It is:
- TM68 from Generation IV toPokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and inPokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
- TM09 inPokémon Sword and Shield.
- TM152 inPokémon Scarlet and Violet.
- TM055 inPokémon Legends: Z-A.
It can be upgraded to the specialZ-Move,Pulverizing Pancake, bySnorlax holdingSnorlium Z.
Effect
Giga Impact deals damage and then forces the user torecharge during the next turn. Unless this attack misses, the user will always have to recharge.
If the user hasTruant, the recharge and "loafing around" take place on the same turn.

Giga Impact's base power has been lowered to 120. Instead of forcing the user to recharge, using Giga Impact lowers the user'saction speed.
