Gameplay

The jobs are ranked E or ★2 through ★6 by default, depending on the floor.

The dungeon uses following layouts:

  • Medium-sized floors with 3-8 rooms on floors 1, 2 and 3
  • Large-sized floors with 3-8 rooms on other floors
  • Large-sized floors with 3-12 rooms on floors 16, 17 and 19
  • Floors 6, 11 and 18 have a giant room in middle with smaller rooms on left and right.

There's 3-6 items on the ground and 6-9 in the walls. There's 2-3 starting enemies on floors 1 through 4, 2-4 on floors 5 through 11, and 3-5 on floors 12 through 19. There is a 10% chance each for a room on every fourth floor, starting from 1, to be filled with lava.

The IQ Booster activates on every floor. Turn limit is 1000. Enemies in the dungeon have 331IQ, including Heatran. There is lava in the dungeon on floors 3, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13, 15, 16 and 19 (on top of the lava that might occasionally spawn in the rooms). The items in this dungeon spawn sticky 5% of the time.

Weather on floors 3 and 5 is sunny, while on floors 6, 8 and 10 is cloudy.

Like otherSeven Treasures dungeons other than Sky Stairway, stat boosting items and Lost Loot are buried in the walls (in contrast to most dungeons which only havePoké).

Pokémon encountered

Each time the player enters floors 1 through 8, only 14 of the species that can be found on a given floor will be chosen. The unpicked Pokémon's spawn rate will be added to whichever picked Pokémon is next in the National Dex order, going back to the beginning if needed.
