Flying Taxis have appeared in thePokémon Trading Card Game. Specifically in theSword & Shield Series, various cards depict the service run by Galar Taxi usingCorviknight. All such appearances have occurred onCorviknight cards.
Flying Taxi is the name of theAbility onCorviknight from theDarkness Ablaze expansion. When the Corviknight is played toevolve a Pokémon, its Ability allows the player to return any of their Pokémon that are in play, along with all cards attached to that Pokémon, into theirhand. Cards named "Corviknight" are ineligible, which means the card cannot affect itself. The art for the card shows a Corviknight serving its role as Flying Taxi alongside aCabbie.
The cardsCorviknight
andCorviknight
have printings inSilver Tempest showing Corviknight and a Cabbie with the Flying Taxi. The Corviknight V card depicts the Corviknight and the Cabbie resting on the ground, while the Corviknight VMAX card depicts aGigantamax Corviknight — instead of lifting the cab in its talons, the cab is carried on Gigantamax Corviknight's head.

Trivia
- The Flying Taxi in Galar are designed afterLondon black cabs.[1]
- InPokémon Sword and Shield, when the player takes the train to or from theArmor Station, they will automatically use a Flying Taxi to enter or leave the Isle of Armor, as seen in the animation that plays when the player first goes to the island. This will happen even if the player has not yet unlocked Flying Taxis.
- InPokémon Scarlet and Violet, going between Paldea, Kitakami, or Blueberry Academy shows an animation of a plane on the loading screen rather than a Flying Taxi, despite still being referred to as a Flying Taxi on the map.
- Braviary'sPokémon ShieldPokédex entry implies that it was originally considered to work as the Flying Taxi Pokémon, but due to its hotheaded and belligerent nature, this role was given to Corviknight instead.
- Corviknight'sPokémon ScarletPokédex entry says that predators attack Corviknight as it flies, so it cannot serve as the taxi service in Paldea.Tinkaton's entry from the same game states it is one such predator, knocking rocks at flying Corviknight. The implication may be that the Flying Taxi role in Paldea was given to Squawkabilly to avoid endangering customers.
