DescriptionThis member of theElite Four is constantly on the verge of overheating. He's a skillful Trainer ofFire-type Pokémon who is always burning for an all-out battle.

Flint (Japanese:オーバŌba) is aPokémon Trainer inPokémon Masters EX, based on thecharacter of the same name in thecore seriesgames. He forms async pair withInfernape. The sync pair is obtained during the events ofChapter 12 of theMain Story. The pair's potential can be upgraded to6★ EX from October 25, 2024, which unlocks Flint's EX style.

Flint also forms a sync pair withRapidash. This pair can be obtained by exchanging a BP Sync Pair Voucher in theShop beginning on August 28, 2025. This pair can be raised to6★ EX since it first released, though it lacks an EX style.

Origin

Flint's design is based on his appearance inPokémon Diamond, Pearl, andPlatinum.Infernape is Flint's signature Pokémon in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, as well as in his first battle inPokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Infernape'sDex entry comes from Pokémon Pearl.

Flint uses a Rapidash in most battles against him in the core series games, with it being his lead Pokémon in his initial battles in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Rapidash's Dex entry comes fromPokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
