Effect

Feint Attack inflicts damage and bypassesaccuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in thesemi-invulnerable turn of a move such asDig orFly.

Feint Attack can be used as the second move of aPokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 2 bonus appeal points ifFake Out,Leer, orPound was used in the previous turn.

Generations II and III

Feint Attack willnot trigger effects involvingcontact.

Generation IV to VII

Feint Attack is now a physical move that makes contact.

Generation VIII onwards

Feint Attack cannot be selected in a battle.
