Chairperson Erma (Japanese:ササコSasako) is an elderly woman who is the head of theRanger Union inPokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia.

In her youth, she,Professor Hastings, and PrincipalLamont were childhood friends with dreams. Her dream was to protect nature and Pokémon and with Hastings' development of theCapture Styler and Lamont'sRanger School, that dream was realized and the Ranger Union was established.
