Egg events[1] (Japanese:タマゴイベントEgg Event) are limited-time events inPokémon Masters EX where players can receivePokémon Eggs that hatch into Pokémon of certain themes, usually of a specifictype, with which the player can formsync pairs. During these events, the normally obtainable Eggs are not available from the permanent areas; instead, event-specific battles grant probabilities of giving Eggs. Pokémon from these Eggs randomly have one of three roles (Strike, Tech, or Support) and one to threepassive skills. Some of these Eggs can hatch asShiny Pokémon on rare occasions; these will always have three passive skills.
The chance of receiving an Egg after a battle can increase by including specific sync pairs on a team:
- Scottie/Bettie paired with a Pokémon of a matching type: increased by a factor of 0.8×
- Scottie/Bettie paired with any other Pokémon: increased by a factor of 0.4×
- Any other sync pair of a matching type: increased by a factor of 0.2×
Lastly, a limited-time Egg incubator gets added to Bellis's Lab for the duration of each event.
Bug-Type Egg Event
This event ran from July 20 to August 3, 2020. Players could obtain Eggs that hatch intoScyther,Pinsir,Venonat, orWeedle. Strike Scyther and Strike Pinsir could hatch asShiny Pokémon.

Ice- and Fighting-Type Egg Event
This event ran from October 22 to November 12, 2020. Players could obtain Eggs that hatch intoLapras,Mankey,Seel orMachop. Tech Lapras and Support Mankey could hatch asShiny Pokémon.
The event was originally scheduled to end on November 5, 2020; however, it was discovered that after updating to version 2.2.0, players could receive non-event Eggs from areas outside the event. As compensation for this bug, the duration of the event was extended, all players received 300 non-paidGems, and players who had an active Eggcelerator Pass received an additional 300 non-paid Gems.[2]

- The Ghost- and Poison-Type Egg Event was the first Egg event:
- The two versions of theFlying- and Psychic-Type Egg Event are the only name-matching Egg Events to share all theirEgg Pokémon. None were added or removed for its rerun.
- Raise Tyrogue! was the first Egg event since theFighting- and Bug-Type Egg Event to feature a unique set of opponents.
- Excluding theDaily Battle eventThe Golden Magikarp,Raise Tyrogue! was the only Egg event to have:
- Only one species of Pokémon available in its Eggs that can be shiny no matter its role.
- Three identical Trainers of the same class,Black Belt, as opponents.
- The first run ofRaise Tyrogue! had the lowest chances of receiving an Egg from its battles of all Egg events, with its most difficult battle capping at a 44% chance. This could only be achieved by a team consisting of a Fighting-type sync pair formed by theplayer as well as two other Fighting-type sync pairs.
- The second run increased the base chance of receiving an Egg for all battles, to the point that its most difficult battle has a higher base chance of receiving an Egg than any other Egg event.

- His dialogue when challenging the player and after being beaten by Sabrina is almost identical to his dialogue upon challenging and after being beaten by the player in those games.
- Meow Meow Meow! is likely a reference toNational Cat Day, which is celebrated in Japan on February 22, the same day the first and third runs of this event began.
- Lass Andrea fromMeow Meow Meow! is a reference to a Lass who appears onKanto Route 8 and uses a team consisting of three Meowth. She was unnamed inPokémon Red, Green,Blue, andYellow, but both her English and Japanese names match her names inPokémon FireRed and LeafGreen andPokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.
- Do You Want An Egg? was the only Egg event to feature a playablesync pair ( Ball Guy & Amoonguss) as an opponent.
