EX Holon Phantoms is the name given to the thirteenth main expansion of theEX Series of thePokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released asHolon Phantom, the seventh expansion in the Pokémon Card Game PCG Era. This set featuresGeneration III Pokémon. The English expansion was released on May 3, 2006, while the Japanese expansion was released on January 27, 2006.
The expansion was set inHolon, south of the city around whichEX Delta Species was based. Because of the more natural habitat, fewer of the Delta Species Pokémon are dual-type.
The Reverse Holofoil started to feature the plain "refractor" Holofoil on the background of the artwork.
The Holon Phantom set is only released in Japanese, in both 1st and unlimited edition. The EX Holon Phantom set is released in English, German, French, and Italian, with cards also available as Reverse Holofoils.
