InPokémon Crystal,HeartGold and SoulSilver, severalTrainers can be found in the cave. TheDragon Shrine (Japanese:りゅうのほこらDragonShrine) is located in the south end (blocked off by awhirlpool), where theMaster will quiz theplayer on their attitude towards and treatment of theirPokémon. InPokémon Gold and Silver, where the Dragon Shrine is closed and everything related to it is unavailable, Clair will instead give the Rising Badge to the player after they collect theDragon Fang. If the Dragon Fang from Dragon's Den is not obtained, but the player has one anyways, usually from trading from another Trainer, Clair will call the player a cheater and refuse to give the badge.
In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, after the player battles Silver atMt. Moon, they can participate in aMulti Battle with him againstLance and Clair here. Additionally, in these games, if the player receives the Rising Badge from Clair and then leaves the Dragon's Den withDig,Teleport, or anEscape Rope, then they must return to her Gym in order to collect theTM.
