Dark Pulse (Japanese:あくのはどうEvil Pulse) is a damage-dealingDark-typemove introduced inGeneration IV.

Effect
Generation IV
Dark Pulse inflicts damage and has a 20% chance of causing the target toflinch.
Generation V onwards
Dark Pulse can hit non-adjacent opponents inTriple Battles.
Dark Pulse's power is increased by 50% when used by a Pokémon with the AbilityMega Launcher.
Dark Pulse is no longer affected byKing's Rock.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
InPokémon Legends: Arceus, Dark Pulse'sPP was lowered from 15 to 10, and the move can no longer cause flinching. Instead, it bypasses accuracy and evasion checks to always hit.
