TheConnected Quartet Gift Boxes (Chinese:四方联结礼盒) are fivePokémon Trading Card Game products that were available inmainland China from January 19, 2024.

Information

These products collectively feature allPokémon V-UNION cards that were previously released in other markets. Three standard boxes mimic theV-UNION Special Card Sets available in several Asian regions:

• Connected Quartet Gift Box: Greninja V-UNION (Chinese:四方联结礼盒：甲贺忍蛙V-UNION)
• Connected Quartet Gift Box: Mewtwo V-UNION (Chinese:四方联结礼盒：超梦V-UNION)
• Connected Quartet Gift Box: Zacian V-UNION (Chinese:四方联结礼盒：苍响V-UNION)

Each of these products comes with an appropriately designed 4-pocket card album that can hold up to 128 cards. Notably absent however was theProfessor BurnetSupporter card, which was available alongside the Greninja, Mewtwo, and Zacian V-UNION cards in all other localizations. This card, along with itsFull Art print, was later included in the Simplified ChinesePolychromatic Gathering expansion.

The largerConnected Quartet Gift Box Set: Morpeko (Chinese:四方联结套装礼盒：莫鲁贝可) features both prints of Morpeko V-UNION, which originated from the JapaneseVMAX Climax High Class Pack. The Character Secret Rare print is showcased in the display window, while the Regular print is packaged in a plastic wrapper in the same compartment as the set's complement ofPrimordial Arts booster packs. Each set includes three 5-card packs from the Overgrow subset and three 5-card packs from the Torrent subset. The gift box set also comes with a number ofMorpeko-themed accessories, including a PU leather 4-pocket card album capable of storing up to 160 cards, a flip deck case with magnetic closure, and a pack of 64 sleeves.

Like the V-UNION Special Card Sets from other Asian countries, the individual Pokémon V-UNION parts from these four products form a numbered master set and have their own set symbol. Not included in this numbering however are the Pikachu V-UNION cards from the remaining product, theConnected Quartet Gift Box: Pikachu Great Gathering (Chinese:四方联结礼盒：皮卡丘大集合), which are insteadS-P Promotional cards. In addition to the cards, this box includes aPikachu-themed card display frame capable of holding four cards, two 5-card Primordial Arts Overgrow booster packs, and two 5-card Primordial Arts Torrent booster packs. The display frame can either be stood upright using the enclosed stands or hung using the enclosed length of cord.
