When the Pokémon with thisAbility is at halfHP or less, itscritical-hit rate and basic attack speed are increased for a short time. Pokémon UNITE Opening Cinematic
A Cinderace appeared in the "Pokémon UNITE Opening Cinematic", partaking in aUnite Battle onRemoat Stadium on the purple team. It attacked three wildLillipup, allowing itsAeos Trainer to catch the last one. It evolved from Scorbunny to Raboot, and celebrated with its Trainer. Later, it evolved into Cinderace and sprinted toward the goal zone closest to the orange team's base.Snorlax andMr. Mime from the orange team tried to stop it, but Cinderace leaped over the both of them and shot their collected Aeos energy at the goal zone.Pikachu tried to intercept the Aeos energy.

- Blazing Bicycle Kick may be based on the movesEmber andPyro Ball, and on the overheadBicycle kick in football, keeping in line with the football player-based design of theCinderace evolutionary line.
