Release information

This card was included as both a Regular card and aFull Art card in theFlashfire expansion, first released in the JapaneseWild Blaze expansion. The Regular print features artwork byEske Yoshinob, while the Full Art print features artwork byRyo Ueda. In Japan, it was reprinted with the same Regular Art illustration as one of threeXY-P Promotional cards available to those who took part in thePokémon Card Game Summer Vacation Present Campaign's Gym Leader Challenge at Pokémon Center stores during the weekends of August 23-24 and 30-31, 2014. Players could battleKalos Gym Leaders, earning one card of their choice for the battle whether they won or lost.

This card was later reprinted with new artwork byEske Yoshinob as one of theXY Black Star Promos available in theEX Power Trio Tins starting October 2014. This print was later available as one of three random XY-P Promotional cards packaged with any one order of special Uniqlo Pokémon Card Game T-shirts in Japan. The promotion began in late February 2016 at participating Uniqlo stores in commemoration of the release of theBREAK Starter Pack, which itself commemorates the 20th Anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. This print also features the Uniqlo logo in the bottom left corner of the card.

A different Full Art print with artwork byHitoshi Ariga was available in thePokémon Card Game Art Collection, released on September 16, 2016.

AJumbo version of the Regular print was included in theCharizard-EX Box—Fire Blast released in October of 2016, alongside a reprint of the Regular card itself.
