ACabbie (Japanese:タクシードライバーTaxi Driver) is a type ofTrainer class introduced inGeneration VIII. They are pilots working for theFlying Taxi and, fittingly, specialize inFlying-type Pokémon. In theBattle Tower andGeneration IX, Cabbies specialize inSteel-type Pokémon as well.

A Galarian Cabbie appeared inTinkatuff's Hammer Wasn't Made in a Year!, where he was hired to transportCoral andSidian to Paldea. He initially refused to until seeing Coral. During the flight being, they were shot down byDot's Tinkatuff. After spotting Tinkatuff, the Cabbie and his Corviknight fled.
Pokémon: Twilight Wings

A Cabbie, referred to as aTaxi Driver (Japanese:タクシーの運転手Taxi Driver) in this miniseries, is a recurring character and the only character to appear in all eight episodes of the miniseries.
The Taxi Driver debuted inLetter, where he tookRose andOleana to a hospital as part of a scheduled visit.
InTraining, he tookBea to theWild Area so she could train. By the end of the episode, he returned to deliver Bea her phone, which she accidentally left behind in the taxi.
InBuddy, he was deliveringHop'sWooloo back home after it got lost and was found byMilo, only for it to jump down when it saw Hop down below. As he proceeded to take both Hop and Wooloo home, he tried talking about their bond, only to discover the two of them had fallen asleep.
InEarly-Evening Waves, he tookNessa to Rose's office so she could meet with Oleana, and then toWyndon Stadium.
InAssistant, he took Chairman Rose and Oleana back to their office after a long day of work.
InMoonlight, he tookAllister andTommy to the hospitalJohn was staying at so that Tommy could apologize to him for their earlier quarrel.
InSky, multiple Taxi Drivers transported children from the hospital to the stadium forLeon's match. Soon after, the recurring Taxi Driver tookJohn to the stadium, but he landed them on a mountain when John spotted Leon on top of it. The Taxi Driver sent Leon and John to the stadium alone on his Corviknight so that they could arrive in time despite the heavy headwinds. The day after the match, the Taxi Driver was reading a newspaper article about the match between Leon andRaihan whenVictor andGloria approached him and asked him for a ride.
InThe Gathering of Stars, the recurring Taxi Driver took Leon all across the Galar region as he handed out invitation letters for theGalarian Star Tournament. Another Taxi Driver and his Corviknight was also seen outside Wyndon Stadium.

A Cabbie was one ofLeon's onlookers atHammerlocke inStealth!! Infiltrate the Energy Plant.
InChomp!! It's Dracovish, a Cabbie who was aMacro Cosmos's in disguise was sent with his cohorts toRoute 9 Tunnel to dispose of a wildDracovish that suddenlyDynamaxed. The Dracovish was saved byMarvin, who used hisSniffler to stun everyone long enough for him to catch Dracovish and escape. Afterward, they reported their failure toOleana and were ordered to stand by inWyndon.
InRumble!! The Horrific Darkest Day, two Cabbies were seen informingMilo that theFlying Taxi was unavailable due to the mass outbreak of Dynamaxed Pokémon.

- Cabbie Geoffrey mentions an old legend that says thatGalar would be doomed ifCorviknight were to disappear. This is a reference to a real-life myth about theravens of the Tower of London, which states that if they were to disappear, theGreat Britain would fall.
