AButler (Japanese:しつじButler) is a type ofPokémon Trainer introduced inGeneration VI. They are depicted as well-dressed men employed as servants to other people. They appear to be the male counterpart ofMaids. The only Butler outside of theBattle Maison who can be battled isChalmers, who appears during Chapter 5 of theLooker Bureau. Butlers also appear in theBattle Chateau, though named as aBaron,Viscount,Earl,Marquis, orDuke.

A Butler namedTurner appeared inBreaking Titles at the Chateau!, alongside aMaid. They acted asAsh andcompany's guides through theBattle Chateau, and officiated the matches held in the facility. He has the same character design as that of the Butlers inPokémon X and Y.

The ghost of a Butler appeared inThe Old Chateau, where he invitedCheryl to stay for the night at theOld Chateau. After treating her to a "meal", he escorted her to her room before sinking into the floor.
